Time has been flying by for me. I just completed 9 years in corporate world. To work in Banks Treasury on a Forex Dealing profile would be a dream of any B-school graduate and to my luck this dream came true. All thanks to FCRIMS. In all this, I wish to confess that my deepest fears – were if would I fit in and to my surprise I am able to.. This is because my B-school had prepared me for it. We may not realize it, but we are quite prepared for our future and corporate world due to the values that we have gained at home and at our B-school. These really come to full play after we step out of our B-school. In recent years FCRIMS has steadily been building its capacity to create a truly great B-school. In my view, greatness requires three things: wonderful students enjoying a tremendous student experience; very successful faculty; a supportive campus learning environment. FCRIMS is committed towards delivering this to its students. A living institution makes an impact on everything, it touches on the minds and dreams and characters of students, on the world of ideas and their practical application. From the first day that I joined FCRIMS, my curiosity never ceased. What helped me was,equally eager teachers who wanted nothing but the best for my batch mates and I. The curriculum is designed to bring out the best in each one of us and with the help of skilled teachers it made learning fun. Our lectures were interesting and filled with a lot of case studies and presentations that made the process of learning democratic. FCRIMS also enabled us to be better at stuff beyond the course, like managing our own college festival, participating in the other events and also ensured the best companies came to the campus for placement. Those two years were indeed one of the best learning experiences of my life.

I still remember the orientation day held in July of 2002. We were the second batch of the college in the MMS course. Hence most of the event was organized by our seniors and Professors. We had a lovely orientation session followed by an icebreaker to introduce ourselves to the fellow students. Most of them are still in touch even after 16 years today. That the kind of bond FCRIMS nurtures. We had an amazing team of Professors who not only helped us understand the curriculum in the class but pushed us to take up a lot of projects inside and outside of FCRIMS related to our studies. ABSTRACT was one such project and it still continues to be one of the best events in FCRIMS. It really helped us learn and most importantly grow to face the practical world when we went on to work in different companies. Most of our lectures included case studies and presentations which made learning fun. Our class was a strong bond of 40 students who helped each other in this process of transition into becoming great leaders in our respective fields.
