Fr. Agnels’ believes in providing holistic education and development to the students
by providing them quality education as well as ample opportunities to groom themselves.

Council which was duly encouraged by our Respected P.V. Sir with a lot of zeal and
enthusiasm. The legacy continues with each passing senior batch appointing a new
Council from the junior batch. |
|
The Students’ Council functions as a representative of the student body, voices
the opinions of fellow students, co-ordinates smooth functioning of activities as
well as arranges and conducts all activities held within the college. It provides
students with excellent training in leadership, co-operation, co-ordination, strategic
planning, decision making and team building skills which fulfills the management
philosophy. The students take independent decisions, plan out activities and also
co-ordinate the smooth functioning of each activity right from scratch. |

This special initiative was encouraged by P.V. Sir and other Staff by enthusiastic
participation and guidance during all activities. The Council is a body of 10 members.
The students are asked to nominate themselves to be appointed to the Council. Nominations
and appointments are done on a democratic basis. The current Council consisting
of students from the senior batch vote amongst themselves and elect 10 members from
the nominees. Finally, a Chairman, a Secretary and 2 Treasurers are elected to preside
over the meetings, maintain accounts as well as act as a link between the Council,
students and the Staff. |

The Council actively co-ordinates and conducts the Alumni Meet, Farewell Party as
well as the Induction Program for the new batch |
|
It was organized with an aim to help each student relive the precious moments spent
at FABS.
|

The Council works diligently to cater to every need and voice of every student.
It organizes everything right from the planning to the conduction of the events
down to the finest detail. The Council also ensures overall participation of the
entire batch in conducting the events.

The Students’ Council thus operates actively within the College giving ample grooming
opportunities to students. It is for the students, by the students and of the students.
It is due to the combined encouragement and guidance of P.V. Sir and the Staff that
the Council has been able to achieve such milestones. |

The Council will continue to be an indispensable part of the holistic education
process and will always inspire students to be a part of it so as to contribute
to the learning process. Each passing batch leaves behind a plethora of experiences
and learning for the new batch to adopt and make the best use of it to improve by
each passing day and help FABS scale greater heights.
