 1. Eligibility Criteria
 
1.1 Basic Qualification
In order to secure admission to first year of two-year full time MBA/ MMS programme, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria; Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate* ( 40% in case of backward class candidates from Maharashtra State only ) in any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
OR
Appeared** for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
 
1.2 Eligibility Criteria for admission to Maharashtra State candidates (Type A-E) for the seats coming under CAP :
1. Basic qualification as specified in rule no. 1.1
 
2. Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2007), GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority for the academic year 2007-2008.
 
1.3 Eligibility Criteria for admissions to OMS candidates for the 15% seats coming under CAP :
1. Basic qualification as specified in rule no. 1.1.
 
2. Appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs) / JMET (conducted by IITs) / MAT (conducted by AIMA) / ATMA (conducted by AIMS) / XAT (conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to MBA/MMS for the academic year 2007-08. Such candidates are required to appear for GD &PI conducted by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State for the academic year 2007- 2008.
OR
Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2007), GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority for the academic year 2007-2008.
 
1.4 Eligibility Criteria for admissions against seats for Foreign National / Foreign student / PIO / Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries:
1. Basic qualification as specified in rule no. 1.1.
 
2. Appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs) / JMET (conducted by IITs) / MAT (conducted by AIMA) / ATMA (conducted by AIMS) / XAT (conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to MBA/MMS for the academic year 2007-08. Such candidates are required to appear for GD &PI conducted by the Management of the respective institutes.
OR
Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2007), GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority for the academic year 2007-2008.
OR
any other equivalent examination conducted for the academic year 2007-08.
 
1.5 Eligibility Criteria for Minority / Management seats :
1. Basic qualification as specified in rule no. 1.1.
 
2. Appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs) / JMET (conducted by IITs) / MAT (conducted by AIMA) / ATMA (conducted by AIMS) / XAT (conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to MBA/MMS for the academic year 2007-08. Such candidates are required to appear for GD &PI conducted by the Management of the respective institutes.
OR
Appeared for CET conducted by agency (including Association of all colleges of a particular type in the State) approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti Bandra (E), Mumbai-51 for the academic year 2007-08. Such candidates are required to appear for GD &PI conducted by the Management of the respective institutes.
OR
Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2007), GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority for the academic year 2007-2008.
 
 2. Documents required at the time of submission of Application form :
 
Attested zerox copies of the following certificates are required to be submitted at the time of confirmation of submission of Application form.
 
2.1 Statement of marks of HSC and SSC
 
2.2 Statement of marks for the Bachelor’s Degree Examination (i.e. the qualifying Degree examination) in case the candidate has passed the bachelor’s degree examination (Candidates who have appeared for final year degree examination have time limit up to 31st August, 2007 to produce the same).
 
2.3 Caste certificate (if applicable)
 
2.4 Non Creamy Layer certificate (if applicable)
2.5 Domicile certificate (if applicable), clearly indicating the place of permanent residence of the father / mother.
 
2.6 Certificates in Proforma A,B,C,D,E and F as applicable.
 
The candidates reporting for admission should have these certificates in original at the time of reporting as per the allotment given through CAP at the respective institutes:
