1. How and why did we decide to start this course? |

We did a research for about 2 years in and around Navi Mumbai and Mumbai and we
found out that a
|

common man: |
|
|
(a) Wants to invest in stocks but he is afraid & shy because he does not himself
know anything. |
|
|
(b) Earlier, he had invested in stocks taking tips from his friends. As long
as he made money, this system was fine. When he lost, especially, during the crash
of the sensex in May 2006, he permanently went out of the market out of FEAR
to never return. |

(c) Some people wanted to trade but they were afraid of using the computer.(65%

2. Who are the teachers and what are the course contents? |
|
|
Ans.: To begin with, we will assume that you all are here to learn right from
Scratch. Our own in-house experienced faculty and practitioners from
the industry train you in the art of online trading of shares. More emphasis is
laid on the Cash Segment along with an overview of the derivatives
segment. We begin by introducing you to the basics of stock exchanges, stocks, intermediaries,
SEBI etc.etc. This is then followed by a session which helps you to understand opening
of DEMAT and Trading accounts and the procedures involved.Once the participants
develop an understanding of all the above, they are taught – Fundamental analysis,
Technical analysis, How to read annual reports and then introduced to derivatives.Two
sessions on how to strategically choose and invest in stocks with practical DO’s
& DON’T’s enables the student develop clarity while investing.The highpoint
of the course is the training provided in online trading of shares in our state
of the art computer laboratory. |
